How to Manage Inventory with Product Colors

InkyBay’s product color feature allows you to offer your customers unlimited colors for a single product with hex codes or a live color palette. For premium colors, you can charge extra.

Manage the Inventory of Product Colors

Inkybay’s Inventory system allows you to manage the inventory of your product colors. To manage the inventory of your color variants, follow the steps below: 

Step 1: Navigate to the custom product. 

Select your custom product and then click the Edit button, as shown in the image below

Step 2: Access the Inventory section. 

Scroll down to the Restrictions section and click the Inventory option there.

Step 3: Check your product colors and variations

1. ALL Colors: From the All Colors drop-down, you can check all the available colors of your product. You can filter variations by size, color, and style to check and manage each variation of the product separately. 

2. Variations: In the variation list, it will automatically create every possible variation of your product using all the sizes, colors, and styles of your product. You can easily update the inventory (SKU, Stock quantity, stop sell quantity, and track inventory) of each variation of your product. 

Color Variation Filter in configurable product: 

In the configurable product, you can have multiple color groups for different parts of your product, as shown in the above image.

In the Inventory for a configurable product, you have to find variations by filtering each color in every color group and update the inventory of those variations.

Follow the steps below to see how to filter color variations in a configurable product:

Step 1: Navigate to inventory and access the color groups.

Step 2: Access the colors of each group to filter the color variation.

1. Click on the drop-down icon to view the color list for each group and select the color to filter the color variation. 

2. After selecting the variations, click on the “Go” Button.

3. You will see all the variations with the selected color, including all the sizes and styles in the variation list. You can easily update the inventory (SKU, Stock quantity, stop sell quantity, and track inventory) of each variation of your product.
