InkyBay does not handle fulfillment. Orders are fulfilled by you (the merchant) or your connected fulfillment/POD provider. You can download the customer’s design from the InkyBay app, then send it to your POD provider, and ship it to your customer. See More..
No, InkyBay is a product customization tool. You can integrate it with your preferred POD or fulfillment service.
There is no fixed order limit. You can process unlimited orders based on the number of customer orders within your Subscription plan. If you’ve reached your custom order limit, the customer can still place an order, but you’ll not be able to download design files. And for this, you must upgrade your plan.
Each unique custom product added to the InkyBay app is listed as an individual product in your Shopify store. For example, you added a custom product in InkyBay with 20 available colors and 5 sizes; all will be counted as a single custom product.
InkyBay creates a new product in your store to generate a unique, print-ready file with the specific customized image and final price for each order, as Shopify doesn't support dynamic price changes in the cart.
However, these products are created as unlisted products and don't appear in your storefront and search results.
Moreover, you can delete these newly created products anytime you want from your Shopify admin. Also, if you use the Inkybay inventory system, then these products will be deleted automatically after 48 hours.
InkyBay’s storage limit varies by plan, ranging from 5 GB on the Starter plan to Advance/Professional plans. Unlimited storage is available on higher-tier plans.
This happens because InkyBay loads via Shopify script tags, which are triggered after the rest of your page finishes loading. And Inkybay doesn’t add any code to your theme's liquid file to ensure smooth installation. Click here to explore how to add the script.
This happens when you remove the app-created DesignLab page from your Shopify page list. However, to resolve this error, navigate to Settings > Other Settings. After that, click on “Recover designlab page”.
Yes, of course. To customize the design tool page title, go to InkyBay app Settings >> Other Settings. After that, navigate to the InkyBay Designer URL. For a step-by-step guide, click here.

Inkybay comes with default text and contact info for the get a quote window. When customers click on the “Get a Quote” button, it opens the window with default info and the customer contact details form. If you want to change the default info, you can do that under “Settings >> Language & Translations” in the app admin. Explore our step-by-step instructions here.
You don’t need to use any 3rd party apps to apply discounts, as Shopify doesn’t allow dynamic price modification in the cart. So, the best solution is to use InkyBay’s built-in Quantity Discount feature.
InkyBay creates a new product with the final price and image when customers place orders after customization. These new custom products created by InkyBay don’t have the same name and tag anymore. That is why the discount codes don’t work when you apply the discount to specific products or product tags.
It allows percentage or fixed-amount discounts based on product quantity, base price, design costs, or option prices. Check out to set up quantity discounts.
To improve InkyBay’s loading speed on product pages, optimize product images (using WebP formats), and add corrections to the product page liquid code. For more details, check out the-detailed steps.
To set an extra charge based on the custom design added per product side/panel, go to the Price per size range option. For example, $5 will be charged for added designs on the first side. Another $3 will be charged if customers add designs on the 2nd/other sides.
As you have to set the price based on the size range, the price will be counted based on the design size of that size range.
